So you have a specific space to fill? No Problem!
At the Painted Furniture Company, we believe the furniture in your home should be more than just functional. It should be something that reveals who you are while at the same time being aesthetically pleasing and comfortable for you and your family. Furniture should be about enhancing your life rather than just providing a space to sit, sleep, or dine.
We understand that every home is different. Shape, layout, style and space are all unique, whether you find yourself living in a wonderful old manor, a city loft apartment, the cosy country cottage or one of our country’s millions of wonderful Victorian terraces; finding furniture the right size for your space can be the biggest challenge of all.
Well we are here to help! Because of the way we produce our furniture we can offer our customers bespoke furniture pieces from nearly all the collections that you can find on our website!
What you can expect from The Painted Furniture Company:
Do not settle for the 'off the rack' furniture everyone else has. Instead, let us design and build bespoke furniture pieces that will make your home a more comfortable place for you and the envy of your friends and neighbours.
How does it work?
Quite simple really. It’s best to start by selecting the piece that most closely fits the dimensions you need, for example let’s say you need a chest of drawers for a specific space and it needs to be 100cm wide?
The Island Breeze 2+2 chest is 106cm wide as standard so that would be a good starting point, pick up the phone and speak to one of the team here and we will give you a quote to have your piece built to 100cm wide.
If you need it to fit a wider space, say you have 115cm to fill, the same applies, we can just make it a bit wider. Taller, narrower, extra drawers or cupboard doors are all possible, just tell us want you want to achieve.
What does it cost?
Well much as no two homes are identical then neither are any two bespoke pieces so we don’t have a fixed cost. But it can cost a lot less than you think to have a bespoke sized piece of furniture in your home.
Largely the cost will be related to the amount of workshop time your adjustment needs, and a small amount for additional materials cost.
Whilst we can’t say exactly we appreciate it is useful for customers to have an idea of the costs so that they can decide whether the bespoke option might be for them. One simple rule is that the more adjustments we have to make the more it will cost! So for example to change the width of a seven drawer chest will cost relatively more than adjusting the height of a two door wardrobe.
If you want a ‘Ball Park’ figure then we can achieve what you need, from most pieces, for somewhere between 15% and 25% of the base cost.
Don’t forget, it’s a simple process once we understand what you want to achieve, so pick up the phone and we will be happy to share all the advice you need.
