Painted Dining Tables

The Island Breeze Painted Dining Tables are built at our factory in the South West of England using the finest materials. The Island Breeze tables are beautifully simple with no fussy details, the top sections are nicely balanced to give an elegant style to the table, not overly heavy or chunky. It has an appearance of confident style, it doesn't try to hard if you know what I mean? The quality is in the timber and it just shows, never shouts.

Your table will be finished in your choice of colour from the Island Breeze Colour Chart, or if you prefer we will happily paint your table in any of the current Farrow & Ball colours. If you need some guidance then just pick up the phone and talk colours, it's what we love to do!

The Island Breeze Dining Collection is exquisitely designed British hand made furniture, with table tops crafted in solid Oak and finished in a wide choice of beautiful contemporary colours designed to compliment the most modern or classic interiors. Tables are available as both fixed top or extending versions in either round or rectangular shapes and with a choice of leg styles.

Each Island Breeze dining table is hand built to your order at our factory in the south west of England. The base, legs and skirt sections are all built using solid ungraded Nordic Pine which is the strongest and cleanest grade available and most importantly, paints beautifully without the risk of movement of knot bleed. We always use traditional techniques which ensure a strong and stable platform for your table and a perfect substrate for the final colour finish. The painted finish is applied by hand using the latest painting technology.

During the final finishing every piece is sealed, primed and then refinished by hand to remove any minor blemishes. Finally your painted dining table is given two full coats of the final colour.

The base of your table is spray painted by hand to your specified colour and will have a solid oak top section which can be be finished in either a beautiful natural lacquer or a slightly darker Victorian Oak colour. There are a number of other options for the finish we are happy to discuss with you and indeed, if you wanted to, we could paint your table in the same colour all over.

The Oxford Dining Chairs are built in Belgium using either solid Oak or Solid Birch Timbers, depending upon whether we are going to paint them or not. Birch is a very strong and light timber which has a tight grain pattern which is very resistant to movement, this makes it the perfect timber from which to create the intricate shapes of a good chair and also provides a fantastic base for painting. Both the Vertical slat and the Twin slat are available painted in any of the colours to perfectly match your Oxford Painted Dining Table and are also available in a choice of either solid Oak seat or upholstered in a choice of fabrics.
