The Louis 1 Drawer Open Shelf Bedside brings simple elegance and a surprising amount of practicality to your bedside. With one soft-close drawer for your tucked-away bits and an open shelf below for whatever you like to keep close, it’s a neatly balanced piece that feels just right in smaller bedrooms or lighter interiors.

At 40cm wide, it strikes the perfect middle ground — not too slim, not too bulky — just enough space for your nighttime reads, a lamp, and your alarm clock (if you’re still clinging on to one of those). The drawer closes softly, the shelf keeps things open and easy, and the design keeps your room looking fresh and considered.

Every Louis piece is made by hand in our UK workshop, using a carefully chosen mix of materials. The front frames and fine detailing are cut from Tulip Poplar, the drawers built from tough Radiata Pine, and the panels from high-density engineered timber for extra stability.
