Small Dressers
A small painted dresser is proof that beautiful furniture doesn’t need a big footprint. Whether you’re styling a freestanding kitchen, bright dining nook, or cosy living room, our handcrafted dressers add storage, charm, and a touch of personality. Each one can be made in bespoke narrow or slim dimensions, hand-painted in your chosen colour, and perfectly tailored to your space.
What size counts as a small dresser?
Our small dressers typically range from 90cm to 120cm wide and stand around 190cm-214cm tall, offering practical storage without taking up too much space. They’re ideal for cottages, apartments, or compact kitchens, and can be made in bespoke narrow or slim dimensions to fit perfectly.
Can you make a narrow or slim dresser?
Yes, absolutely. We specialise in slim and narrow dressers that fit neatly into alcoves, nooks, or compact kitchens. Whether you need extra shelves or drawers, every design can be made to your exact measurements.
Are your small dressers handmade?
They are. Each one is handcrafted in the UK by skilled British Furniture Makers using traditional joinery and premium materials. Even our smallest designs receive the same attention to detail as our largest statement pieces.
Can I choose the colour and finish?
Definitely. Each dresser is hand-painted in your chosen shade from our beautiful palette, with a choice of painted or oak tops and different handle styles. If you have a favourite colour in mind, our Colour Match Service can recreate it perfectly, helping you coordinate every detail.
Where do small dressers work best?
Anywhere you’d like a little extra storage and style. Our compact dressers work beautifully in kitchens, hallways, and dining areas, and they’re a lovely addition to smaller living spaces too
Can you make something completely bespoke?
Yes. From extra-slim kitchen dressers to shallow hallway dressers, we can create a piece that’s made to measure in every way — width, height, shelving, and finish.
Can I visit the showroom?
You can! Our showroom in Cirencester is the perfect place to explore our range of small painted dressers, see our colour options, and talk with our friendly team about bespoke designs or our Colour Match Service.
